Sorry Vodafone Customers

by Chris From MojoCall on May 3, 2011

Dear Vodafone Subscribers,

We are sorry to announce that we are no longer allowing access to Mojo Call for Vodafone customers. Mojo Call has had to suspend our service to Vodafone mobiles because of a disagreement over interconnect fees. This disagreement means that we can no longer subsidize free international calls for mobile phones on the Voda network. We hope to resolve this issue and resume service at some point in the future.

In the meantime, we recommend that you use IndiaLD.com for cheap international calling to India from New Zealand. IndiaLD offers cheap monthly calling plans and has access numbers in Auckland. Call India for from New Zealand for 1.4 US cents per minute with IndiaLD.

Kindly,

Mojo Call

No More Free Calling To Pakistan

by Chris From MojoCall on July 14, 2010

Sorry gang, but the cost to call Pakistan went through the roof today. We are not sure why, but given that all carriers have risen rates across the board, its probably a government surcharge. It’s happened in the past, so it would not be surprising if its happened again.

We hate having to cut off free calling to people, but there is no way we can afford to offer Pakistan at this time.

When the rates drop back down, we will add it back to the service.
